A quote without a survey
Any firm willing to price a three-bedroom home over a two-minute phone call is either guessing or planning to revise the number once your goods are on their truck.
Large advance payments
A modest booking advance is normal. A demand for most of the value upfront, in cash, to a personal account is not.
No written inventory
The signed inventory is your only proof of what was loaded. Without it, an insurance claim has nothing to stand on.
No verifiable address or GST details
Check the registered office, the GST number and the vehicle registration. Legitimate movers share all three without hesitation.
